Cristian Peix was born in Brazil and came to Germany at the age of seven. He took the opportunity to learn various instruments early on until he realised that a place to study piano at the Hanover University of Music was no coincidence. Further years of study followed - also at the universities in Detmold and Berlin, where in many singing classes and courses on the piano. A few years ago, he finished teaching commitments at various universities to devote himself entirely to his own artistic work as a soloist and piano partner for singers and instrumentalists as well as a composer.
As a soloist and accompanist, he has already given concerts in many European countries, the USA and Brazil with over a thousand musician partners of different skin colours and nationalities - not including singers from various choirs and vocal ensembles.
Songs by Heitor Villa-Lobos (2012, Capriccio), Richard Strauss (2013), Erik Satie, Francis Poulenc, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel (2015, Amusement), Franz Schubert (2017, Coviello Classics), the "Diaphenia" CD (2019, Querstand), Gabriel Fauré, „The Sacred Works“ (2022, Rondeau) and around 150 demo CDs, many of which can be found on the websites of various musicians, are available for posterity as CDs. In addition to videos on YouTube, there are also radio recordings on Deutschlandfunk, NDR, Ö1, rbb Berlin and WDR. Compositions by Cristian Peix have had their first performances. From time to time he creates poems, portrait drawings and books on various subjects.
